Sancho BBDO y Geometry Global son las dos agencias colombianas que entraron en el shortlist, o lista de finalistas, del Wave Festival en Río de Janeiro, Brasil.
Geometry
disputará el premio en la categoría Brand Experience & Activación, que agrupa a 21 finalistas, con la campaña Christmas River, producida para Coca-Cola. La subcategoría en la que participa, Excellence in Brand Experience, enlista a seis finalistas. Además está nominada en la categorías Social & Influencer, con la campaña The Bank of Viewcoins, desarrollada para Claro, donde aspira a premios en tres subcategorías.

Sancho BBDO
Por su parte, Sancho BBDO logró varias nominaciones con sus campañas ‘Escuela de la Sostenibilidad’, creada para Bancolombia y ‘Faceblood’, desarrollada para la Cruz Roja Colombiana. La primera es finalistas en las categorías Branded Content & Entertainment (subcategoría de innovación) y Social Change; mientras que la campaña para la Cruz Roja es finalista en la categoría Direct (subcategoría Digital y Social). A su vez, las dos campañas aparecen como finalistas en la subcategoría Plataformas Web, de la categoría Digital.

Wave Festival
La 11ª edición del Wave Festival in Río, festival latinoamericano de creatividad, comenzó en el hotel Grand Hyatt, en la Barra de Tijuca, en Río de Janeiro. Durante el festival, 69 jurados de diez países de América Latina y del mercado hispano de Estados Unidos evaluarán los mejores casos de comunicación comercial de Latinoamérica.
En total, 296 iniciativas conforman los listados de finalistas y aspirantes a trofeos de Oro, Plata, Bronce y Grand Prix.
